Bank of America sues for $53,094.76 over alleged unpaid bill

NEW ORLEANS — Bank of America filed a lawsuit on Aug. 2 against Michael T. McKenzie Sr. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, seeking 53,094.76 plus interest for an unpaid credit account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie. 


The case has been assigned to Division J Judge D. Nicole Sheppard.
