GRETNA – A funding company is seeking damages for sums due of more than $3,300.
Unifund CCR LLC filed a suit Aug. 13 against Akhtar Abbas in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due alleging that the defendant is indebted for the balance of $3,361.02 plus interest.
The defendant is accused of open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen Grefer.
