GRETNA – Unifund CCR LLC is seeking more than $2,200 allegedly owed on a credit card account.
Unifund CCR filed a lawsuit Aug. 17 against Phillip Gavin in the 24th Judicial District Court.
According to the petition, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account with a balance of $2,214.32 plus interest, alleging that the defendant was negligent in paying off the balance due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond Steib Jr.
