NEW ORLEANS – A company that specializes in helping consumers with debt relief is seeking $26,235.55 in past due payments from a client, according to a lawsuit.

Unifund CCR LLC filed a lawsuit on Aug. 15 against Lori A. Richardson, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking damages for an overdue balance of $26,235.55 on an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Paul S. Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
