NEW ORLEANS –– A spa owner accuses two property owners of not fixing its property after flooding.

Donda Skipper filed a complaint on Aug. 10 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Pigeonhole Mini Storage and CSIII Partnership, alleging breach of contract and negligence.

According to the complaint, a rainstorm flooded the rented property Skipper was using as a spa. The flooding damaged her property and made her close the business, the complaint states. Skipper claims the landlords did not timely repair the damages.

Skipper seeks damages for loss of property and lost revenue. She is represented by James C. Cronvich of the law firm Favret Carriere Cronvich in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
