L. Pugh & Associates is seeking more than $36,000 in sums due

NEW ORLEANS – A company is seeking more than $36,000 in sums due.

L. Pugh & Associates Inc. filed a lawsuit Aug. 8 against Team Contractors LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due and breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident which took place beginning in January 2015 when the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement. According to the terms of the agreement, the plaintiff was to be paid their time spent installing fire protection systems for the defendant, but the defendant is still indebted for the balance of $36,370.80 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due and breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney James Garner of Sher, Garner, Cahill, Richter, Klein & Hilbert LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin Giarrusso.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-7887.
