OneMain Financial is seeking over $6,500 in sums due

NEW ORLEANS – A financial service company is seeking more than $6,500.

OneMain Financial Services Inc., successor by merger to OneMain Financial of Louisiana Inc., as services for Wilmington Trust N.A., as issuer loan trustee for Springleaf Funding Trust 2017-A filed a lawsuit Aug. 17 against Chaz B. Lewis in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $6,585.27 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to maintain the terms of an agreement.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Naomi Cohen Ivker of Zarzaur and Schwartz in Birmingham, Alabama.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper Griffin.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-8189.
