Jim Owens Carpet says customer owes over $24,000

NEW ORLEANS – A company alleges that they are owed more than $24,000.

Jim Owens Carpet Corp. filed a lawsuit Aug. 17 against Bradley D. Becnel in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $24,393.40 plus interest, alleging that the defendant was negligent in paying off sums due for services issued.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Arthur Dupre of Leefe, Gibbs, Sullivan & Dupre in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel Julien.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-8183.
