GRETNA – A title company is seeking over $1.2 million in sums due.
Girod Titling Trust filed a suit Aug. 21 against DASA Enterprises Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking full payment in the amount of $1,254,027.01 plus interest, alleging that the defendant was negligent in paying off the balance due.
The defendant is accused of sums due on executory process.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott Cheatham of Adams and Reese LLP in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
