GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages after a hair salon caused her to lose hair.
Diandra Pittman filed a suit Aug. 20 against Massachusetts Bay Insurance Co.; NOLA Studio LLC, dba Alquimia Beauty Studio; and Janina Padilla in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Aug. 18, 2017 when the plaintiff received a hair treatment from the defendant. The suit states that the plaintiff has been caused to suffer severe hair loss due to the salon's improper treatment.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Al Thompson Jr. in New Orleans.
