GRETNA –– A Jefferson Parish woman faces a lawsuit by a loan company.
PennyMac Loan Services LLC filed a complaint on Aug. 23 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Jessica L. Smith.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking $185,932.93 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due on a mortgage.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. She is represented by Dean Kirsty Massey Finley Morris LLC in Monroe.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
