GRETNA – A woman alleges that her car was struck by a garbage truck.
Lynnay Brown filed a complaint on Aug. 27 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Wayne McClue, Waste Connections Bayou Inc., and ACE American Insurance Co.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on June 6, when the plaintiff was operating her 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe and the defendant who was driving a garbage truck took a sharp turn and struck the plaintiff's car.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Salvador Brocato III of Brocato Law Firm PLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.
