Man says he was injured when he was hit by a metal cart

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages for an injury that took place at an iron and casting store.

Carlos Gonzales Sanchez filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Orleans Ornamental Iron & Casting Distributors Inc. and National Insurance Co.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Sept. 19, 2017 when the plaintiff was on the premises of 2860 Arts St. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured by a large metal cart that shoved him into another shelf.

The defendant is accused of negligence

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Eve Reardon of Reardon Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette Irons.
