Property company files lawsuit seeking over $15,000 from tenant

GRETNA – A property company is seeking more than $15,000 in sums due.

1st Lake Properties Inc., agents for Willowood Jefferson, filed a complaint on Aug. 22 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Marcus Voltori and Syncere Brown.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place in 2017 when the defendant was a tenant of the plaintiff's at 2600 Pasadena Ave., No. 207, in Metairie. The suit states that the defendant breached contract and resulted in damages to the property totaling $15,460.22 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jacob Ansas in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 786783.
