GRETNA –The state Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit filed a complaint on Aug. 24, in the 24th Judicial District Court, against Derrick Jones Sr.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages of $59,467.30 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance owed. The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John C. Walsh of Shows, Cali & Walsh LLP in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
