Standard Mortgage files lawsuit for past due sums

GRETNA – A mortgage company is seeking more than $100,000.

Standard Mortgage Corp. filed a complaint on Sept. 25 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Michael C. Goldman.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due of $100,208.90 plus interest on a mortgage.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Louis Graham Arceneaux of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 787950.
