GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $71,000 in sums due.

South Lafourche Bank & Trust Co. filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Patrick James Santiny.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on the balance of $71,531.52 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by George Ledel Jr.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.
