Allstate seeks damages following a water leak

GRETNA – An insurance company is seeking damages for a water leak.

Allstate Insurance Co. filed a complaint on Oct. 5 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Adams Air Condition and Heating Services LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Nov. 1, 2017 when the defendant cleaned a drain line at the property on 1904 Frankel St. The suit states that the home began leaking on Nov. 5, 2017 when the line that had supposedly been cleaned began overflowing, resulting in damages to the plaintiff's property.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Eric MIller of Bolen, parker, Brenner, Lee & Engelsman in Alexandria.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 788342.
