Financial services company seeks $7,000

NEW ORLEANS –– A financial services company brought a lawsuit for an alleged $7,000 debt.

OneMain Financial Service Inc., as successor by merger to OneMain Financial Services of Louisiana, filed a complaint on Oct. 1 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Stanley Sylvan.

According to the complaint, the defendant owes a balance of $7,496.36 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Naomi A. Cohen Ivker of Zarzaur and Scwartz in Birmingham, Alabama.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
