GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a slip and fall at a gas station.

Tammy Seaberry filed a complaint on Oct. 8 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Brothers Petroleum LLC and Admiral Insurance Co.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Nov. 4, 2017, when the plaintiff was at the defendant's property at 8692 River Road in Westwego. The plaintiff alleges she was caused to slip and fall at the defendant's property due to a clear substance that was left on the ground.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jahida Lewis Crawford in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn Ansardi.
