University of New Orleans seeks over $4,300 in sums due

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking more than $4,300 in sums due.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a complaint on Oct. 16 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Leon Jarad Cooper.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $4,397 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette Irons.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-10420.
