GRETNA – A mortgage company is seeking more than $152,000 in sums due.

Standard Mortgage Corp. filed a complaint on Oct. 23 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Carole Pierre Plaisime and Leneve Plaisime.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a mortgage in the balance of $152,663.87 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Stacy Wheat of Louis Graham Arceneaux in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.
