Woman claims Kenner Police officer struck her car

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for an alleged incident involving a police officer.

Alisha Williams filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against John B. Cusimano III, the City of Kenner, and Kenner Police Department.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Nov. 8, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving westbound on Veterans Boulevard in Kenner when the defendant who was driving on the same road struck the plaintiff's car.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Carolyn Gill-Jefferson in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee Faulkner Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789145.
