GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages stemming from an accident with a cab.
Grace Giardina filed a complaint on Oct. 29 in the 24th Judicial District Court against First Chicago Insurance Co., Eastern Cab Inc. and Hassan Kesrewan.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Nov. 19, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving on Interstate 10. Kesrewan, who was driving for Eastern Cab, allegedly struck the plaintiff's car.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by James Leathem of Morris Bart LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
