Woman seeks damages from SureTemps after altercation with coworker

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages after she was allegedly attacked by a coworker.

Moneka Pierre filed a complaint on Oct. 24 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against SureTemps LLC and Clarence Davis.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place .Dec 1, 2017 when the plaintiff was employed by the defendant. The plaintiff alleges she was attacked by the defendant's employee, Davis, who was assigned to work with the plaintiff despite personal issues between the two. The defendant is responsible for attacking the plaintiff, causing the plaintiff's head to strike concrete, resulting in personal injuries.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Joseph McMahon III in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher Bruno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-10685.
