GRETNA – A financial group is seeking more than $1,600 from a customer.
Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC filed a complaint on Nov. 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Elisha Bender, alleging sums due.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due against Bender. The allegation is the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $1,688.66. The plaintiff has allegedly filed amicable demand but the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due, causing them to seek out legal measures against the defendant.
The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jason Patrick of Rausch Sturm in Enterprise, Alabama.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.
