Finance company seeks over $8,300 on unpaid vehicle loan

GRETNA – An automobile finance company is seeking damages for more than $8,300.

AutoVest LLC, assignee of GFC Lending LLC, filed a complaint on Nov. 15 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Indiria Bellamy and Kendall Spriggs.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a vehicle. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off a balance due on a vehicle. The defendant allegedly owes the plaintiff $8,357.85 plus interest of $1,099.62 plus interest on the total balance.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a vehicle.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph Fick Jr. of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
