Cavalry SPV I files lawsuit seeking over $20,000

GRETNA – A collection agency is seeking more than $20,000 in sums due.

Cavalry SPV I LLC, as assignee of Citibank, filed a complaint on Nov. 5 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Cindy Racine.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging the defendant has failed to pay off sums due. The suit states the defendant has accrued sums due in the balance of $20,132.43 plus interest. Despite amicable demand, the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due plus interest of $237.70 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward Bukaty III of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789276.
