Man says he was injured in accident with commercial flat bed truck

GRETNA – A man is seeking damages for an incident that took place with a flat bed truck.

Mitchell C. Lemoine filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Bret M. McCabe Coastal Erection & Crane LLC and United Fire & Indemnity Co.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on March 28 when the plaintiff was driving his car on U.S. Highway 61 and the defendant, who was pulling a flat bed with cargo, rear-ended the plaintiff's vehicle, resulting in massive injuries to the plaintiff and his vehicle.

The defendant is accused of negligence and failing to prevent an incident from taking place.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by James Vinturella of Vinturella Law Firm LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789211.
