Finance group is seeking more than $11,000 on open account

GRETNA – A finance group is seeking damages of more than $11,000.

OneMain Financial Group LLC, as servicer for Wells Fargo Bank, as issuer loan trust for OneMain Financial Issuance Trust 2016-2, filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Michael Austin.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account the defendant has failed to pay off. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff the balance owed for services delivered. Currently, the defendant is indebted for the balance of $11,995.02 plus interest. The plaintiff has made amicable demand but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Naomi Cohen Ivker of Zarzaur and Schwartz in Birmingham, Alabama.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789758.
