Wells Fargo Bank seeks over $158,000 on mortgage

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $158,000 in sums due.

Wells Fargo Bank filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Sharlene Adams and Darlene Adams.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a mortgage, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $158,083 plus interest of 5.75 percent per year until the balance is paid. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance owed despite amicable demand being made.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Corey Giroir of the Law Offices of Herschel Adcock Jr. in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.
