OneMain Financial Services is seeking more than $8,200

GRETNA – A finance company is seeking more than $8,200.

OneMain Financial Services Inc., as successor by merger OneMain Financial Services of Louisiana Inc., filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Dennis Hawkins.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account the defendant has failed to pay off. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff the balance owed for services delivered. Currently, the defendant is indebted for the balance of $8,268.65 plus interest of 25 percent. The plaintiff has made amicable demand but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid balance.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Naomi Cohen Ivker of Zarzaur and Schwartz in Birmingham, Alabama.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond Steib Jr.
