IberiaBank seeks over $12,000 on unpaid note

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $12,000 in sums due.

IberiaBank filed a complaint on Nov. 28 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Youel Martinez-Torres.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an unpaid note. The suit states that the defendant has been negligent in paying off the balance due. The plaintiff is currently seeking the balance due on a promissory note in the balance of $12,815.20 plus interest. The plaintiff states they have made amicable demand, but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid note.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robert Mathis of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael Mentz.
