GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $2,4000 from a customer on an open account.

Discover Bank filed a complaint on Dec. 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Ruthie L. Webber.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance owed to the plaintiff for an extended period of time. The plaintiff is seeking $2,425.61 from the defendant, and despite amicable demands the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff back.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
