SLU claims former student owes over $2,800 for the services issued while attended the institution

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking over $2,800 in sums due.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Southeast Louisiana University filed a complaint on Nov. 28 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Reyan Danese Williams.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due to the plaintiff. The plaintiff is seeking $2,806.75 plus interest, and claims that despite amicable demand the plaintiff is still seeking payment.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by Jessie Cannon of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Melvin Zeno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-11893.
