Woman alleges she was injured during fall at Boomtown Casino

GRETNA – A woman alleges that she fell at Boomtown Casino.

Mandy Cheramie filed a complaint on Dec. 6 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Pinnacle Entertainment Inc.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Dec. 6, 2017. The plaintiff alleges she was a guest of Boomtown Casino and Hotel at 4132 Peters Road n Harvey when she was caused to slip and fall due to a large amount of liquid that was left on the ground. The plaintiff alleges the defendant is to blame for failing to appropriately clean and/or and warn of the danger.

The defendant is accused of negligence and failing to take the appropriate precautions.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by D. Patrick Keating in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.
