University of New Orleans seeks over $3,700 from former student

GRETNA – A university is seeking more than $3,700 in sums due on an open account.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Myles L. Hargrove.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account for a balance owed while the defendant was attending the University of New Orleans in the Fall 2015 semester. The plaintiff is seeking the balance due of $3,769.25 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Amy Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 790384.
