Security Credit files court action seeking over $22,000 on student loan

GRETNA – A credit service company is seeking more than $22,000 in sums due on an open account.

Security Credit Services LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Abby S. and Kenneth W. Bumgarner.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The defendant is currently indebted for a Student Loan Note account in the balance of $22,410.84 plus interest of $4.25 percent and attorney's fees. The plaintiff alleges they have made amicable demand as of Aug. 30, 2018 but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 790397.
