GRETNA – American Express is seeking more than $18,000 in sums due.

American Express National Bank filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Eric C. Falgout.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of a credit card. The plaintiff is seeking payment in the balance of $18,400 in sums due. The plaintiff has sought amicable demand, but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.
