NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for a fall on the way to her dumpster.
Jean Ann Kohler filed a complaint on Dec. 6 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against AMG Botanica LLC, Key Real Estate Co. LLC and ABC Insurance Co.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Feb. 28, 2018, when the plaintiff was at her apartment at 200 St. Ann Drive, No. 735 in Mandeville. The suit states the plaintiff was taking out the trash when she was caused to trip and fall in a hole on the ground. The plaintiff was caused to be injured due to the fall.
The defendant is accused of negligence and failing to take the appropriate actions to prevent injury.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney J. Wayne Mumphrey of Chalnmette.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel Julien.
