Freedom Mortgage files lawsuit seeking more than $102,000

GRETNA – A mortgage company is seeking more than $102,000 in sums due.

Freedom Mortgage Corp. filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Matthew Carson Gautro.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The plaintiff is seeking a balance of $102,153 plus interest of 4.25 percent per year from June 1, 2018 until the balance is fully paid.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Rader Jackson of Jackson & McPherson LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 790560.
