Hancock Whitney Bank seeks over $19,000 on auto loan

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $19,000 in sums due.

Hancock Whitney Bank filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Katherine X. Smith.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an unpaid loan. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an unpaid auto loan on a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander. The balance the plaintiff is seeking is $19,577.43 plus interest of 5.04 percent.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid auto loan.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Clay Legros of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
