Plaintiff says Bros & Magnolia breached $25,000 contract with him

GRETNA – A man is seeking damages after he alleges that a business agreement was breached, leaving him owed $25,000.

Juan Rubio filed a complaint on Dec. 27 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Bros & Magnolia LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for breach of contract, alleging that on Dec. 27, 2017 he entered into an agreement with the defendant to buy shares from a business called Dago's Cantina. The suit states the defendants are indebted to the plaintiff for the balance of $25,000 for unjust enrichment and failing to fulfill the terms of the agreement in good faith.

The defendant is accused of negligence and breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Ivan Orhuelaof Riguer Silva LLC in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee Faulkner Jr.
