Law firm seeks over $27,000 on open account

NEW ORLEANS – A law firm is seeking damages for more than $27,000, alleging a client failed to pay them for work done.

Herman, Herman & Katz LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 21 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Daniel Ayrod.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off a balance to the plaintiff for services delivered. The plaintiff is seeking $27,272.40 plus interest for a contract that was entered into on March 23, 2015.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Steven Lane of Herman, Hernman & Katz LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
