Man claims he was injured in slip and fall at The Roosevelt New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages, alleging he was caused to slip and fall at a hotel due to negligence.

Michael Wottowich filed a complaint on Jan. 11 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Dimension Development Co. Inc.; Waldorf Astoria Management LLC; First Class Hotels LLC, dba The Roosevelt New Orleans; and Park Hotels & Resorts Inc., dba The Roosevelt New Orleans.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Feb. 4, 2018, when the plaintiff was a guest of The Roosevelt New Orleans at 130 Roosevelt Way. The plaintiff was caused injury when he was walking toward the entrance and was caused to slip and fall on a wet substance that was not cleaned nor warned of.

The defendant is accused of negligence and failure to prevent an incident from taking place.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by Matthew Bourque of Dudley Debosier Injury Lawyers in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney Cates IV.
