GRETNA – Discover Bank alleges that a woman who has failed to pay off her account owes it more than $5,300.
The bank filed a complaint against Eve S. Mamolo on Jan. 28 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, Mamolo failed to pay off an open account balance of $5,399.69 plus interest. The suit states that despite amicable demand being made by the plaintiff, the defendant remains negligent.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The demand is represented by Everette C. Altdoerffer of Stephen Bruce & Associates in Edmond, Okla.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
