Wells Fargo seeks more than $55,000 on unpaid mortgage

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $55,000 in sums due on an unpaid mortgage balance.

Wells Fargo Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 29 in the 24th Judicial District Court against David I. Lacoste and Iris Chauff Lacoste.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a mortgage balance. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $55,903 plus interest of 5.5 percent per year until the balance is paid in full. The plaintiff alleges that despite amicable demand, the defendant has failed to pay off the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage balance.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Corey Giroir of The Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock Jr in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
