Discover Bank seeks more than $25,000 on woman's open account

NEW ORLEANS – Discover Bank is seeking more than $25,000 on a woman's open account.

The financial institution filed a complaint against Dolores M. Chambers on Jan. 25 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states it is owed $25,149.48 plus interest. The defendant has remained negligent on the balance owed despite amicable demand from the plaintiff, the suit claims.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. Discover Bank is represented by attorney Everette C. Altdoerffer of Stephen Bruce & Associate in Edmond, Okla.


The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.
