Midland Funding files suit to collect Goodyear debt

GRETNA – A funding company is seeking more than $2,000 allegedly due on an account with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.

Midland Funding LLC filed a complaint against Afaf Salem on Feb. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $2,053.87 plus interest. Despite amicable demand from the plaintiff, the suit claims the defendant has failed to pay off his debt.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Midland is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.


The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
