Ferguson Fire & Fabrication sues for alleged $75,000 debt

GRETNA – A fire protection company is seeking more than $75,000 in sums due, claiming it was never paid for services and goods issued.

Ferguson Fire & Fabrication Inc. filed a complaint against Acadian Fire Protection Inc., Robert Wolfe Construction and 344 Lake Avenue LLC on Feb. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff is seeking damages for breach of contract, unjust enrichment and sums due.

The suit states that the defendant has been negligent in failing to maintain an agreement in which the plaintiff is seeking $75,000 in sums due. The plaintiff allegedly agreed to supply goods to the defendant, and did, but the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due.


The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Ferguson Fire & Fabrication Inc. is represented by Matthew W. McDade of Balci & Bingham LLP in Gulfport.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
